We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Purchaser to join our team. The Purchaser will play a crucial role in maintaining our inventory levels, sourcing products, and negotiating with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

Researching and identifying potential suppliers and products to expand our product range.

Negotiating pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to ensure favorable terms for the company.

Monitoring inventory levels and forecasting demand to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.

Collaborating with the sales team to understand customer needs and trends to inform purchasing decisions.

Conducting market research to stay informed about industry trends, pricing, and competitor strategies.

Reviewing and analyzing purchasing data to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs.

Maintaining accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a purchaser or buyer, preferably in the wholesale or retail industry.

Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in record-keeping.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
