To meet the growing demand for our product we\xe2\x80\x99re currently seeking a Purchaser. In this position you will own all aspects of material ordering including sourcing, negotiating, acquiring, ensuring cost and monitoring deliver schedules of all products for the assigned vendors/material categories. Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Locate new vendors and establish partner relationships with them while also maintain existing vendor and supplier relationships.
  • Negotiate new orders with existing and new vendors and suppliers using best ordering options for the company in terms of price and commitment.
  • Evaluate and select suppliers based on factors such as price, quality, delivery time, and reliability.
  • Process purchase orders on time as per purchasing guide, updating digital files as needed to record purchases made, and all other relevant information.
  • Monitor and collaborate to maintain inventory levels, ordering new items as needed to keep the inventory stocked and supplied.
  • Focus on resolving production stock out and production issue reports.
  • Communicate with internal customers on status and actions of stock out and production issue reports.
  • Ensure that purchased orders are delivered by coordinating with staff members and vendors for on time delivery.
  • Support the team during new product development with project sourcing and production implementation on purchased parts.
  • Support the team in strategic sourcing projects and other kinds of projects.
We\xe2\x80\x99re Looking For:

  • Familiarity with procurement and inventory management principles.
  • Excellent communication skills and able to work collaboratively.
  • Negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain vendor relationships.
  • Time Management and organizational skills.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Analytical and detail oriented.
  • Proficient with ERP and Microsoft Office.
The following are considered an asset:
  • Degree or diploma in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

  • Previous supply chain experience in the manufacturing industry.
  • Knowledge of the agriculture equipment and parts.
