Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Punch Press Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of press machinery to produce high-quality parts and components. This role requires a strong attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Press Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring that production goals are met while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Duties

• Operate press machinery, including but not limited to milling machines, lathes, and plasma cutting equipment.
• Perform quality inspections on finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
• Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations during the production process.
• Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot mechanical issues as they arise.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
• Document production data and report any discrepancies or issues to management.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Press Operator or in a similar manufacturing role is preferred.
• Proficiency in crane operation is a plus.
• Familiarity with welding techniques and machining processes is advantageous.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to program machinery as needed.
• Experience with quality inspection methods and tools is beneficial.
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
