Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operational efficiency. Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and testing procedures Repair or replace faulty components, including belts, gears, motors, and hydraulic systems Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs performed Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all safety regulations during maintenance activities Assist in the installation of new equipment and upgrades to existing machinery Troubleshoot electrical systems as needed to resolve complex mechanical problems

Experience

Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical troubleshooting Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints effectively Experience with diagnostic tools and maintenance software is a plus Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Relevant certifications or technical training in mechanical maintenance are preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 41.5 per week
