Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Boom Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the fuel and propane industry and have a strong understanding of boom truck operations. As a Boom Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of machinery, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials.

Duties

Operate boom trucks and cranes to lift, move, and position materials as required. Conduct pre-operation inspections of equipment to ensure safety and functionality. Maintain clear communication with dispatch. Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines while operating heavy machinery. Assist in the loading and unloading of materials.

Qualifications

Proven driving experience with a class DZ is essential. Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation is required. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations. Valid driver's license is necessary; additional certifications for crane operation may be required. TSSA Pump Mechanic 3 certification is an asset. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment are essential for success in this role.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 50 per week
