Public Works Foreman

The Village of Warfield invites applications for the position of Public Works Foreman. With the upcoming retirement of the incumbent, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced public works professional who values community service and is looking to make a meaningful impact in a small, close-knit municipality. Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), the Foreman provides leadership and direction in the planning, coordination, and delivery of a wide range of municipal services and infrastructure programs.



The Public Works Foreman is the most senior position in the department and is responsible for planning, coordination, supervision, and delivery of a wide range of municipal services, including roads, utilities, facilities, and parks. The Foreman oversees the Public Works crew and ensures effective service delivery in accordance with Village policies and regulatory requirements.



Hourly Wage: $48.69 (Pay Grade 6-2025; $50.76-2026), in accordance with the Collective Agreement between the Village of Warfield and CUPE Local 2087. The Employment terms and conditions are as outlined in the current Collective Agreement.
