Overview

We are seeking a passionate and engaging Public Speaking Coach to help individuals develop their communication skills and build confidence in speaking publicly. This role involves guiding clients through effective speech techniques, presentation skills, and overcoming speech anxiety.

The ideal candidate should be a confident, energetic tutor with theatre, drama, or performing arts experience who loves working with children and helping them build confidence through public speaking.

Duties

Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions and group workshops focused on public speaking techniques Develop customized lesson plans tailored to each client's needs and goals Teach effective speech delivery, body language, voice modulation, and audience engagement strategies Provide constructive feedback to help clients improve their presentation skills Assist clients in preparing for speeches, presentations, or public events Track progress and adjust coaching methods accordingly Foster a supportive and motivating environment that encourages growth and self-confidence Stay updated on the latest public speaking methodologies and incorporate innovative techniques into coaching sessions

Skills

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, especially in communication or speech training Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to inspire confidence in others Experience working with children is highly desirable Classroom experience or experience leading workshops is a plus Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate diverse learners Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role Ability to assess individual needs and tailor coaching strategies accordingly

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
