Canada Ututoring Learning Institute is a non-profit organization committed to providing accessible, inclusive, and high-quality educational support at an extremely affordable rate. We are seeking dedicated and experienced tutors to join our team. For this position, we are specifically hiring for:

Public Speaking/Debating Tutor

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience:

Previous experience in teaching Public Speaking and Debating is

REQUIRED

. Candidates with a history of participating in competitions or who have received awards/recognition in these areas will be given preference.

Subject Knowledge:

A strong background in Public Speaking and Debating techniques and strategies is essential.

Experience with Children/Adolescents:

Proven experience working with students, particularly at the high school level.

Communication Skills:

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on the ability to clearly express and teach complex concepts.

Adaptability:

Ability to tailor teaching methods to meet the unique learning styles of each student.

Patience and Empathy:

The ability to motivate students and foster a supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement personalized lesson plans based on the individual needs of each student, including recommended textbooks and resources. Provide small group tutoring sessions to students focused on Public Speaking and Debating. Help students improve their public speaking skills, debate techniques, and overall confidence in these areas. Design and administer tests and quizzes to monitor student progress and enhance their learning process. Utilize effective teaching strategies to engage students and enhance their understanding and performance in Public Speaking/Debating. Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to both the Institute and parents. Collaborate with classroom teachers to ensure that tutoring sessions complement the classroom curriculum. Maintain a positive, supportive, and intellectually stimulating learning environment.

Pay: $40.00-$55.00 per hour
