• 
  Analyze systems and critical infrastructure for vulnerabilities and impacts.
• 
  Perform risk assessments and make mitigation recommendations.
• 
  Conduct literature reviews and research to develop reports on emerging technology trends in emergency management, 911 and public safety.
• 
  Support enterprise architecture initiatives and business capability modeling, primarily mapping potential system failures to impacted business capabilities and mitigation plans.
• 
  Help with the development of Emergency Management & Community Safety strategic technology roadmap.

Qualifications

• 
  Enrolled in an Electrical/Software Engineering or Computer Science Diploma or Degree program.
• 
  Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• 
  Success in this position requires self awareness, communication skills, personal accountability, results orientation and the ability to build strong relationships.

Pre-Employment Requirements

• 
  Must be currently enrolled in school on a full-time basis with the intent to return to school full-time in the Fall of 2023.
• 
  An enhanced security clearance will be conducted.
• 
  If invited to an interview, you will be asked to provide an unofficial transcript or an enrollment verification letter (indicating the program and year you are currently completing).

work week with 1 day off in a 3 week cycle.
