About the Role
We're looking for a motivated and creative
Public Relations & Digital Communications Coordinator
to join our Marketing, Communications, and PR team.
This role is ideal for a student in public relations, communications, marketing, or journalism who is eager to gain practical experience in PR, content creation, and digital marketing. You'll report directly to the Director of Marketing, Communications & PR and play a key role in campaigns that reach staff, residents, families, donors, and the wider community.
We don't expect you to have all the answers on day one. What we do promise is mentorship, real-world exposure, and the chance to build a portfolio of meaningful work that will help launch your career.
What You'll DoPublic Relations
Draft press releases, media advisories, and key messages
Support communications planning for major initiatives and campaigns
Assist with media outreach, monitoring, and event support
Content Creation & Digital
Draft and schedule social media posts across platforms
Create simple graphics and templates for social and intranet content
Maintain the social media calendar, including international days of recognition and observances
Assist with basic photography and video content for campaigns and events
Internal Communications & Admin
Draft and post intranet updates and staff recognition content
Design and distribute internal collateral such as posters and newsletters
Coordinate branded materials (name tags, business cards, signage)
Support recognition initiatives and observance day content
Analytics & Reporting
Track website traffic and social media analytics
Prepare monthly reports on engagement and campaign performance
Team Support
Provide on-the-ground support at events (photos, live posts, media check-ins)
Collaborate with the Communications & Content Coordinator and Graphic Designer to execute campaigns

A team player with a can-do attitude
