We are currently seeking Public Area Cleaners to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Housekeeping, responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments
- Replace supplies in guest washroom facilities
- Ensure pool area is kept clean and replace towels as needed.
- Clean bathrooms
- Remove trash from guest washrooms and common areas
- Check that all lights in the public spaces are working properly and report any that are not the engineering department to be fixed
- Straighten furniture and fixtures
- Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings
- Vacuum carpets in common rooms and hallways
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
- No experience required
- Stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire shift
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 40 pounds without assistance
- Ability to work independently
