Course Description: Ce cours de droit constitutionnel offre une introduction aux principes, aux institutions et a l'evolution du droit constitutionnel canadien. Il permettra aux etudiant.e.s d'apprivoiser les sources formelles et informelles du droit constitutionnel, d'en comprendre l'architecture et les transformations et de mieux decoder l'actualite politique et juridique. A la fin du cours, les etudiant.e.s maitriseront des fondements du droit constitutionnel, y compris la theorie de la separation des pouvoirs, du federalisme et du constitutionnalisme. Ils auront une comprehension elementaire des regimes de protection des droits et libertes, des droits des minorites linguistiques et du droit public relatif aux peuples autochtones.
TQR: At a minimum, a first degree in law. Several years of significant practice or professional experience in the relevant field; experience in teaching undergraduate law students in a bilingual environment.
