Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our healthcare team. This role involves supporting licensed physical therapists in delivering high-quality patient care across various clinical settings. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in Physiotherapy Clinic or acute care environments and possess strong knowledge of medical terminology. Duties

Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients. Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities under supervision. Monitor and document patient progress, responses to treatment, and any changes in condition. Support patients with mobility, strength, and pain management activities. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment. Educate patients and their families on post-treatment care and home exercise programs. Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care effectively.

Experience

Previous Physiotherapy Clinic or acute care experience is highly preferred. Insurance & MVA billing preferred. Proven experience in patient care within a clinical setting. Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to physical therapy practices. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
