Job Description


Under the supervision of a Psychologist, the Psychometrist will be responsible for completing Psychological assessments for a broad spectrum of children up to age the age of 18 with mental health, developmental disabilities and/or emotional/behavioural challenges. Other duties may include supporting clinical consultations, staff training, clinical research, and program evaluation activities. The successful candidate may participate in research work in partnership with other team members and community partners, playing a key role alongside the program Data Research Coordinator, in facilitating studies and administering measures to participants.Qualifications1. Master of Arts in Psychology or related area
2. Extensive experience in conducting assessments with children, using a variety of tools
3. Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team setting
4. Extensive understanding of typical and atypical child development
5. Demonstrated excellent organizational and time management skills
6. Demonstrated competency in computer usage
7. Actively supports and promotes healthy team functioning
8. Willingness to participate in a criminal reference screening process
9. Fluency in French will be considered an asset
10. Must be able to obtain a valid Vulnerable Sector Screen (VSS)As a condition of employment, you are required to submit proof of full COVID-19 vaccination to Employee Health Services.
