Visit us today and check out to see why more people from across the globe are moving here.About the OpportunityReporting to the Program Manager, the Psychometrist provides clinical, educational and research functions to the ABI Program under the supervision of a Registered Psychologist. The primary responsibilities of the Psychometrist are focused on optimizing the provision of clinical neuropsychological services. One of the key responsibilities is neuropsychological testing, which involves the assessment of cognitive functioning including judgement, memory, attention, language, visual perception, general intelligence (IQ), motor speed, spatial perception, abstract reasoning and emotional/behavioral issues through the use of standardized paper and pencil or computerized tests.The ABI Program delivers clinical neuropsychology services based in two locations - the Nova Scotia Rehabilitation and Arthritis Centre (NSRAC) and the Halifax Infirmary (HI) Site. Psychometrists based at the NSRAC site work primarily with patients who have experienced an acquired brain injury, and psychometrists based at the HI site work with patients who have experienced or are being investigated for epilepsy.About YouWe would love to hear from you if you have the following:
