Psychologists are responsible for the planning, delivery, and evaluation of services as well as the education and supervision of students/residents at the QEII Health Sciences Centre. Nova Scotia Health Authority offers a CPA accredited pre-doctoral residency program in Clinical Psychology. The Psychologist provides assessment, intervention, teaching, research, and consultative services within an interdisciplinary approach to clinical care and works collaboratively with various medical divisions.The responsibilities of this appointment are with our inpatient units at the Nova Scotia Rehabilitation and Arthritis Centre (NSRAC). Each of the 3 units have a multi-disciplinary rehabilitation team who support the following populations: people with spinal cord injury (SCI), stroke, traumatic brain injury, and musculoskeletal conditions. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing psychological assessment, intervention, and team consultation for these units.The psychologist may be required to provide services throughout Rehabilitation and Supportive Care Services.About YouWe would love to hear from you if you have the following:
