Duties


----------


The position of Psychologist in the Regina, Saskatchewan office is located on the scenic and historic Depot grounds. This dynamic office is responsible for occupational health services to approximately 1300 members of the RCMP in Saskatchewan. As part of a multidisciplinary health services team, you will be responsible for providing disability case management with the goal of having Members return to good health and eventually return to work. The OHS program is responsible to support regular Members' fitness for duty through screening (physical and psychological), monitoring health, promoting health, and assessing risks for specific occupational health conditions/hazards, and to provide disability case management to Members. The RCMP must set out its own occupational medical policies and standards and defend them in court on a regular basis. You will provide advice to management on the health service needs of the membership as well as providing health services to RCMP Members.

Graduation with a master's degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with specialization in personnel psychology, psychometrics, industrial psychology, clinical psychology or some other specialty relevant to the position


Degree equivalency


Registration for autonomous practice of psychology by a province or territorial registering/licensing body in Canada


Experience in the provision of psychological services such as personality assessments, differential diagnosis or other psychological services, with adults



Experience in liaising with external mental health providers and specialists



Experience in working in a multidisciplinary team approach in an occupational health context
