Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Psychologist or clinical Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support and assistance to individuals and families facing various challenges. This role involves working closely with children, particularly in hospital settings and special education environments, to ensure their well-being and access to necessary resources. The Social Worker will engage in data collection and research to inform best practices and improve patient care.
Duties
• Provide counseling and support services to individuals and families in crisis situations.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes using medical terminology.
• Facilitate access to social services, educational resources, and support groups for clients.
• Advocate for the rights of clients within the healthcare system and educational settings.
Experience
• A degree in Psychology or Social Work or a related field is required.
• Experience working with children in a hospital or special education setting is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development in social work practices is highly valued.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $90.00-$100.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
