Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, particularly with children, and will be skilled in utilizing medical terminology and data collection methods. This role involves providing psychological assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions to support the mental health of our patients. Experience in a hospital setting and familiarity with special education is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for patients, particularly children. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings. Provide therapy sessions to patients, utilizing evidence-based practices. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment outcomes. Engage in research activities to contribute to the advancement of psychological practices. Educate patients and their families about mental health issues and treatment options. Utilize medical terminology effectively in documentation and communication with healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

Entry Level Education in Psychology from an accredited institution. Valid state licensure to practice as a psychologist. Experience working with children in a clinical or educational setting is preferred. Previous hospital experience is advantageous. Strong understanding of special education principles and practices is a plus. Proficient in data collection methods relevant to psychological research and patient care. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly. Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to patient interactions. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $73.48-$185.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week
