Our clinic includes services such as psychology, dietary counselling, IV therapy, registered massage therapy, physiotherapy, aesthetics, and other allied health supports. We value collaboration, autonomy, and sustainable practice.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Registered Psychologist to join Root & Rise as an independent contractor. This role is ideal for a psychologist who values a slower, more intentional model of care and is looking to grow (or relocate) their private practice within a supportive, interdisciplinary environment.

You will have full clinical autonomy while benefiting from shared referrals, administrative support, and a beautifully curated clinical space.

Practices from an evidence-based, trauma-informed and client-centred framework Appreciates collaboration while maintaining independence Is grounded, professional, and aligned with integrative wellness principles

Responsibilities

Provide psychological assessment and therapy within your scope of practice Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation Uphold all standards, ethics, and guidelines of the College of Alberta Psychologists Collaborate respectfully with other regulated health professionals when appropriate Manage your own caseload, scheduling preferences, and clinical approach

Qualifications

Registered and in good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists Professional liability insurance Experience in private practice preferred, but not required Strong clinical judgment, boundaries, and communication skills Interest in working within an integrative or multidisciplinary setting
