Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychological assessment and treatment, particularly with children and individuals with special needs. This role involves working in a hospital setting, providing patient care, conducting research, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to enhance the well-being of our patients.

Duties

Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for patients, particularly children and those with special education needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results. Provide therapy sessions to patients, utilizing evidence-based practices. Collaborate with medical staff to ensure comprehensive patient care. Engage in data collection and analysis to inform treatment strategies and improve patient outcomes. Participate in research initiatives related to psychological health and treatment efficacy. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment plans in accordance with hospital policies. Stay updated on medical terminology and advancements in psychology to enhance service delivery.

Experience

A Doctorate in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an accredited institution is required. Previous experience working with children or in a hospital setting is preferred. Familiarity with special education practices is a plus. Strong skills in research methodologies and data collection techniques are essential. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams.

Pay: $67.48-$165.07 per hour
