Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health, particularly in working with children and individuals with special needs. As a Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating various psychological conditions while providing support to patients and their families. Your expertise will contribute to the overall well-being of our clients and enhance their quality of life.

Duties



Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for children and adolescents. Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient needs. Provide therapy and counseling services to patients, utilizing evidence-based practices. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators, social workers, and medical professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate records of patient progress, treatment plans, and data collection for research purposes. Stay informed about the latest developments in psychology and special education to enhance therapeutic techniques. Educate families about mental health issues and provide resources for additional support.

Qualifications



Doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an accredited institution. Valid state licensure to practice as a Psychologist. Experience working with children and knowledge of special education practices is highly desirable. Familiarity with medical terminology related to psychological disorders. Strong skills in data collection and analysis for research initiatives. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with patients and families. A commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a hospital or clinical setting.
