We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide expert psychological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to a diverse patient population, including children and individuals with special needs. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' mental health and overall well-being within a supportive clinical environment. Candidates with experience in hospital settings, research, and patient care are highly valued. The position requires strong knowledge of medical terminology, data collection, and familiarity with special education practices.

Responsibilities



Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to diagnose mental health conditions Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs Provide psychotherapy and counseling services for patients across various age groups, including children Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure comprehensive treatment approaches Collect, analyze, and document data related to patient progress and treatment outcomes Maintain accurate records in compliance with healthcare regulations and confidentiality standards Participate in research initiatives aimed at advancing psychological practices and patient care strategies Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with emerging trends and techniques in psychology

Requirements



Proven experience working with children, patients in hospital environments, or individuals requiring specialized education support Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to healthcare settings Experience with research methodologies and data collection techniques Demonstrated ability to provide patient-centered care with empathy and professionalism Knowledge of special education needs and strategies for working with individuals requiring tailored educational support Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams, patients, and families Valid licensure or certification as a Psychologist in the relevant jurisdiction
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Freelance

Pay: $41.50-$161.25 per hour
