Job Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care. This role involves working closely with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring hospice or home care services. The ideal candidate will have a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for others through attentive and respectful caregiving. Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or dementia care is a plus, but training will be provided for the right candidates. This is a paid position committed to fostering a safe, caring environment for clients.

Duties

Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility Provide medication administration and monitor health status as directed by healthcare professionals Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Support patients with mobility challenges through safe lifting and transfer techniques Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and maintaining a safe living environment Offer companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being Assist with specialized care needs such as dementia or hospice care Document care provided and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare teams

Experience

Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care environments is preferred Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities is highly desirable Knowledge of dementia care, hospice care, and medication administration is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively when required Strong communication skills and patience are essential for success in this role Previous caregiving or nursing experience will be considered an asset but is not mandatory as training will be provided

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 per week
