Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Provisional Psychologist or Psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, particularly with adults, and will be skilled in various therapeutic techniques. The ideal candidate will be open to learning, want to participate in a team environment, and want to connect to our teams ideals and values. This role involves working closely with patients to assess their mental health needs, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing support. The Psychologist will also collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Duties

Conduct psychological general assessments and evaluations for patients. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results. Provide therapy sessions using evidence-based practices tailored to each patient's needs. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including data collection and analysis. Collaborate with medical staff to discuss patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Engage in research activities to contribute to the advancement of psychological practices. Participate in events and activities put on by the agency when possible.

Experience

A minimum of a Master's degree in Psychology or a related field, and registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists. Experience working with adolescents or adults in a clinical or educational setting is highly desirable. ASIST or other related training is desired. Proven ability to conduct research and apply findings to improve patient care outcomes.

Split includes internal supervision, though if external supervision is desired this can be discussed as a possibility. All amenities in the office space, includes coffee bar for clients, any resources needed in the office to provide adequate care to clients. Use of the office from Sunday-Wednesday AM or PM. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $60.00-$132.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 20 per week
