Inward Bound Psychology is seeking an energetic Provisional Psychologist looking to grow their skills and engage in meaningful clinical practice with a variety of clients. We are looking for a therapist who is excited to learn and deepen their clinical work, to explore areas of specialty and clinical focus, all while building their private practice. What we offer:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Provisional Psychologists play an integral role on the Inward Bound team. With a focus on learning and development the provisional associate is provided with College of Alberta Psychologist's approved supervision from the Clinical Director. The provisional associate also engages regularly with group consultation provided within the practice alongside opportunities to consult with other team members. The provisional associate gains exposure to a variety of modalities that lend to clinical work that focuses on the root causes of presenting concerns creating sustainable and lasting change. We offer freedom and flexibility to explore interests in particular clinical skills, presenting concerns, population groups, individual and systems work, while deepening knowledge related to ethical practice.

RESPONSIBILITIES/EXPERIENCE:



Delivery of tailored and evidence informed therapeutic interventions to Inward Bound clients Maintenance of timely, concise, and accurate clinical records Delivery of service in accordance with College of Alberta Psychologists standards of practice Maintenance of timely and accurate invoicing Demonstrate practice values in all levels of engagement with Inward clients, directors, associates, and other team members Operate in alignment with applicable supervision agreements in place with the Clinical Director or other team members Master's Degree in Counselling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or other related Psychology program Registration or pending approval for registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists Experience with systems work is considered an asset Additional professional development in modality development preferred- such as IFS, narrative therapy, EFT, somatic approaches. EMDR training or interest in pursuing EMDR training considered an asset

Pay: $60.00-$80.00 per hour
