Visit us today and check out to see why more people from across the globe are moving here.About the OpportunityReporting to the DI Provincial Equipment Planning and Service Contracts Manager, the DI Provincial Quality and Stewardship Leader is responsible for leading and promoting quality and patient safety, as well as managing health care resources responsibly for the benefit of all patients within all areas of DI services at Nova Scotia Health. The Quality and Stewardship Leader is responsible for developing, implementing, and supporting appropriateness standards.The Provincial Quality and Stewardship Leader works collaboratively with the Zone DI leadership team, zone Quality control technologists, Medical Physicists, and other stakeholders to plan, implement and administer a provincial Quality and Stewardship program to ensure continuous improvement and excellence in diagnostic imaging services. The Provincial Quality and Stewardship Leader works with the quality team to ensure these deliverables are monitored and when necessary, appropriately modified.Duties are performed in accordance with the Mission, Vision, Values, Standards, Policies and Procedures of the NSHA, which is committed to patient safety, continued quality improvement, and advancing the delivery of safe and trusted health services.This is a provincial position. Home site will be determined based on the Successful Candidate. This is a hybrid work from home / on-site position.
