About the role As the Small Business Proposition and Partnership Manager, you will focus on initiatives that help to grow the small business division while improving the overall experience for customers and employees. The Small Business Proposition team in HSBC Bank Canada sets the strategy for the overall small business division and interacts with a number of different stakeholders to ensure the business runs smoothly. Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing the small business division\'s growth strategy in alignment with the bank\'s overall global strategy.
  • Identifying and developing new propositions, products, and partnerships that support the division\'s growth objectives.
  • Identifying process inefficiencies which create a negative client and staff experience.
  • Analyze customer insight data to develop strategies for growth and retention of the small business division.
  • Monitoring and analyzing the performance of existing propositions, products, and partnerships, and making recommendations for improvements or changes as necessary.

Requirements

  • A bachelor\'s degree in business, economics, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in strategy development, project management, and/or partnership development, preferably in the financial services industry or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to conduct market research, develop business cases, and evaluate financial models.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A proven track record of developing and executing successful growth strategies.
  • A deep understanding of the small business market and customer needs.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • A results-oriented mindset, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of Canadian banking regulations and policies is an asset.
  • Experience with SAS programming language for analytics work is an asset.
