Job description:

Prepare proposals, estimates, costs for Oil and Gas equipment (Separators, Dehydrators, Pumps skids, Stabilizers, Amine and NGL plants, etc.) Involvement in technical sizing and selection of vessels, instruments, controls, valves etc. using in-house software. Detailed costing estimation of material, and labor for complex equipment package. Technical and commercial interface with Customers and vendors.
Accountabilities:

Ability to interpret engineered specifications and drawings to develop professional quotations and complete Excel based pricing estimates. Working knowledge of pressurized Oil and Gas Equipment design and cost estimating procedures. Must be enthusiastic, creative, have a willingness to learn and have initiative. Adhere to Opsco's Safety Policy and Corporate policies.
Qualifications and Requirements:

A university degree or Technical Diploma would be an asset. At least 2 years Industry experience in engineering, cost estimating, drafting, project control or design related area. Strong working knowledge of Excel, word and various sizing software Comprehensive understanding of P&ID, layout, assembly and fabrication drawings. Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Must be thorough, organized and efficient.
