ROLE SUMMARY:

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Proposal Coordinator within our Marketing Team. We are looking for someone just starting in their career and/or at an intermediate level. This position requires a detail-orientated individual and will be part of a dynamic and creative local marketing team and play a key role in supporting the team\xe2\x80\x99s goal of producing winning submissions. You will support the development of proposals through various administrative assignments such as creating templates and formatting content as well as honing your creativity to make proposals visually appealing. You also understand the importance of quality and attention to detail and ensure proposals are compliant, accurate and easily understood.

WHAT YOU WILL DO AT RJC:

Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Supporting the RFP process through development of templates, typing and formatting of proposals/ marketing materials.
  • Work closely with our technical staff and leadership, preparing thoughtful and engaging proposals, which includes overall layout and organization of documents; coordinating and writing text from various team members; creation of drafts and general information.
  • Assisting with writing, development and coordination of promotional pieces which showcase RJC\xe2\x80\x99s expertise, experience, and creativity.
  • Preparing desktop publishing works including written content and layouts for presentations or marketing initiatives.
  • Assisting with project database maintenance.
  • Assisting with the design and coordination of promotional materials.
  • Assisting with the planning of various business development and client events.
  • Data entry and maintenance of our CRM.
  • Providing occasional backup to administrative staff with performing word-processing duties.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO RJC:

Education:
  • May hold a Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field.
  • May hold a Diploma/Degree in another field.

Experience:
  • 0 - 5 years of proposal related experience with a professional services organization
  • Familiarity with the consulting engineering and architectural industry would be an asset

Skills:
  • Working proficiency in MS Office Suite (all programs). Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite would be an asset.
  • Excellent communication, writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Exceptional organizational, time-management, and project management skills.
  • Ability to self-manage project assignments from start to finish with minimal oversight.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and composure.
  • Committed to providing exceptional client service.
  • Able to interact professionally with all levels of business personnel and build strong working relationships.
