Job Summary



We are seeking a highly motivated

Proposal Coordinator and Administrator, for a 12-month maternity leave contract,

to join our Burnaby team. Reporting to the senior engineering team, the ideal candidate will excel in analyzing, understanding, and communicating technical information. With a strong background in proposal development within the engineering, design, or construction industries, they will bring experience, insight, and creativity to the role.

This resourceful self-starter thrives both independently and collaboratively, possesses a keen eye for design aesthetics, and has exceptional organizational skills to handle multiple priorities and deadlines with efficiency and professionalism.

Responsibilities and Duties



Prepare, coordinate, and develop engineering proposals with the senior engineering team. Organize, update, and maintain proposal resource libraries and documentation. Source and create images, charts, and graphics for proposals. Track completed proposals for analytics and follow-up. Update brochures, PowerPoint presentations, and other marketing materials. Contribute to technical content for digital marketing platforms. Set up and update project folders in various software programs. Manage change order requests and additional services in project management software. Update the company website with new projects and team members. Assist with award submissions and other special projects assigned by Principals.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:



Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a focus on technical terminology. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Meticulous attention to detail and design aesthetics. Proactive and resourceful in taking on responsibilities. Ability to work collaboratively towards shared goals. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Must be proficient in using Adobe InDesign. Graphic design and photography skills are an asset.

Required Training and Experience



2 to 4 years of experience with technical proposal writing, administration and coordination Post-secondary education in English, marketing, communication, journalism or a related field Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the engineering, design or construction industries

Pay: $62,000.00-$72,000.00 per year
