The opportunity
BPA is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Proposal Administrative Assistant to join our Halifax team. In this role, you will support the proposal and business development process by preparing, formatting, and managing submission materials, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has excellent communication skills, and takes pride in producing high-quality work. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with a dynamic team, contribute to the growth of BPA, and gain exposure to a variety of exciting projects.
Main responsibilities
Provide drafting and editing support to the proposal team
Order tenders and open proposal numbers
Revise fee letters and PowerPoint presentations
Request insurance certificates for the various projects
Prepare and update the CVs of engineers and technicians to BPA standards
Complete the administrative documents related to proposals
Write single-customer proposals containing a single letter only
Your profile
A minimum of 3 years of experience in an administrative role.
Advanced proficiency with the Office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), and Office 365.
Strong attention to details and work quality
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Adaptability and flexibility
Organizational skills with an ability to prioritize and multitask
Ability to work full time on site
