The pay range for the co-op student role will reflect factors such as the candidate's experience, academic level, and the specific skillset required for the role.



Loblaw has adopted the following hybrid working model (a combination of working between the office and remotely). Colleagues can work remotely up to 1 day a week, while spending the other 4 days in the office (to be determined by each business unit).




Assist with reviewing tax bills and processing payments through Tango; follow up with municipalities to obtain missing documentation Correspond with landlords and municipal authorities to establish financial and banking information for automated payment processing, as well as obtain electronic tax and assessment documentation Connect with landlords regarding outstanding year-end property tax reconciliations Scan, organize, and upload documents into the electronic filing system Monitor the team's electronic mailbox and the Choice REIT document upload portal Prepare appeal authorization letters for landlords, property assessment consultants, and tax authorities Work with Finance Team to obtain expense information and tax payment verification Gather and organize data to support the team in preparing annual tax budgets Update and maintain property tax and assessment records Perform various administrative tasks as required

Job Requirements

Strong accuracy and attention to detail Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel Ability to work effectively both independently and in team settings Highly motivated, committed to excellence and dependable in meeting deadlines Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and basic mathematical skills Proven ability to multitask and manage multiple projects concurrently
