We are seeking a Property Services Coordinator to join our Site Infrastructure Team located at our Joffre Site in Central Alberta, near Red Deer. Reporting to the Site Infrastructure Supervisor, you will manage facilities maintenance across the site for buildings, safety systems and mechanical systems within building structures.
You Will Use Your Expertise To:
Execute facility maintenance, with consideration of safety, quality, schedule, and cost impacts
Provide expertise on SAP and SAP cost structure and business practices
Manage budgets including cost allocations across site
As an extended leader, provide people and work direction for contract workforce which includes:
Set/reinforce appropriate and consistent performance expectations
Apply strong working knowledge of Responsible Care (RC) standards and procedures, reinforce RC expectations and provide coaching/guidance on the standards and procedures to contracting companies to ensure compliance.
Monitor contractor safety programs and collaborate with contract leadership to deliver RC improvements
Review and approve contractor safe work plans.
Validate quality of work and provides corrective direction to align with requirements.
Provide technical input for facility systems impacting capital projects
Lead incident investigations and apply learning when applicable
Review and provide input into facility maintenance job plans and risk assessments
As a member of the contract management team, provide input into the contractor selection, terms, scope of work, and training matrices
Participate in the Plant Coordinator network
Manage the regulatory requirements for Property Services (including the Quality Management Program)
Provide leadership to cross-functional groups/teams in the planning, scheduling and execution of maintenance activities
What We Are Looking For:
2-year technical school diploma with 10+ years of related experience; OR 12+ years combination of post-secondary technical education and related experience; OR 12+ years of progressive experience in a manufacturing discipline or equivalent technology environment.
A valid Alberta Journeyman Certificate with Red Seal designation in a related field would be an asset
Demonstrated performance, skills and personal commitment to Responsible Care
Demonstrated interpersonal skills, good written and oral communication skills
Proven capability to work to broadly defined objectives, overcoming barriers
Good planning and organizing skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft office applications
Strong leadership skills - self-starter, conflict resolution, credible, results oriented
Working knowledge of Maintenance Work Management Processes (i.e., notifications, work orders, planning, scheduling, execution, and follow-up)
In-depth knowledge of and capabilities within SAP
Must have a broad knowledge of the trades

Additional Information:
Relocation will be considered for this position
Compensation will be commensurate with education and experience
This role requires up to 0-10% travel
In order to fulfil the duties of this role, the successful candidate will be required to wear respiratory protective equipment. Candidate must successfully pass a fit test and be physically able to wear a respirator
The successful candidate is required to provide proof of a valid driver's license
