Property Manager - Full Time One Year Contract

Rockcliffe Pentecostal Church is an active community driven church, which has been a landmark of Owen Sound for over 100 years. The staff and pastors have created a caring and supportive work environment. Rockcliffe is more than just a church; we are a family which also oversees Happy Hearts Daycare and Rockcliffe Seniors Complex. With these additional non-profits, Rockcliffe encompasses approximately 16 acres of managed property, 20-25 daycare staff, 95 children, 26 senior residences, and a growing congregation of 190.

Description

The Property Manager reporting to the Lead Pastor is responsible for the overall cleaning, maintenance, and repair of Happy Hearts Daycare and Rockcliffe Church. Responsible for the health & safety and well being of staff and visitors by ensuring a clean well-maintained building and property. Responsibilities include lawn maintenance, snow removal and salting, minor repairs and upkeep, thorough cleaning, and supplies management.

Skills and Requirements

Previous experience in this field of work is preferred but is not a mandatory requirement.

Applicants should possess:

- Awareness of Occupational Health and Safety Act and safety procedures

- Knowledge and experience of cleaning and property maintenance with associated equipment

- Ability to multitask and good organizational skills

- Ability to work independently and as an effective team member

- Experience with machinery use - lawn tractor/ mower, frontend loader/ tractor, snow removal

- General equipment maintenance ability

- Physically capable to stand for long periods of time, bend down or stoop frequently, to lift heavy objects, walking and repetitive movements, and use of machinery and tools

- First aid & CPR is an asset (not required)

Details

Position: Full Time One Year Contract - 40 hours/week

Work Schedule: Consistent work schedule with variable hours. Hours are subject to maintaining operational needs and dependent on weather (after hours, weekends).

Salary: $40,000 - $42,000 per year

Criminal Record with vulnerable sector check will be required and must be within the last six months.
