Our client, a reputable and growing property management group based in Edmonton, is seeking a dynamic and fully licensed Real Estate Broker to lead its operations across a diverse portfolio. Position Overview
The Property Broker will serve as the broker of record, responsible for overseeing brokerage compliance, mentoring the property management team, growing the company's managed portfolio, and upholding the highest standards of professionalism. This role is ideal for a strategic leader with extensive industry experience and a comprehensive RECA license scope.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the licensed broker of record, ensuring full compliance with RECA and all applicable laws and regulations.
Lead and support the property management team, fostering a high-performance, client-focused culture.
Oversee leasing, tenant relations, marketing strategies, and contract negotiations to optimize property performance.
Build and sustain strong relationships with owners, tenants, vendors, and industry stakeholders.
Review and manage all property management agreements, leasing contracts, and compliance documentation.
Drive strategic growth by identifying and securing new property management opportunities across all sectors.
Manage annual budgets, prepare financial reports, and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
Ensure timely resolution of tenant concerns and owner requests, maintaining service excellence.
Stay current with market conditions, regulatory changes, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
Must hold an active Real Estate Broker Licence in Alberta (RECA)
.
Must be licensed in all four RECA sectors
: Residential Real Estate, Rural Real Estate, Commercial Real Estate, and Property Management.* Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in real estate or property management, with at least 2 years in a leadership or broker-level role.
In-depth understanding of diverse property types and related management practices.
Proven leadership skills, with a strong ability to mentor, manage teams, and build organizational capacity.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
Proficient in property management systems and the Microsoft Office Suite.
Demonstrated success in business development and portfolio growth.
