Project Accountant / Project Accounting Specialist

What Youxc2x92ll Be Doing as the Project Accountant

• Manage capital accounting for ongoing real estate development projects and active properties, including monitoring bank accounts and ongoing financial reporting.
• Process invoices, track project expenses, and maintain cashflows.
• Prepare funding reports for grants and lenders.
• Support month-end close, including reconciliations and financial statement preparation.
• Oversee AP, AR, intercompany transactions, and security deposit activity.
• Perform bank reconciliations and keep documentation audit-ready.

About You as the Project Accountant

• Have 5+ years of experience with full-cycle accounting, project accounting is an asset.
• Currently have your CPA designation or are near completion of the program.
• Experience preparing reporting for external funders or lenders (e.g., government grant programs).
• Are comfortable managing multiple bank accounts and cash flow forecasting.
• Have strong communication skills and are comfortable liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
