As a Property Administrator, you will be involved in all aspects of assisting the Property Management team at Royal Bank Plaza. Your outstanding communication and interpersonal skills mean that you are able to respond to tenant inquiries, you exude integrity and your customer service skills are second to none. You also assist the property manager with regular reporting, budgets, tenant correspondence and planning of events.

What you bring

  • Minimum 3 years\' experience in a similar role within commercial real estate.

  • Strong decision-making capabilities to provide high-level service to tenants needs.

  • Excellent customer service skills, proactive, results-oriented, and resourceful.

  • Ability to meet deadlines without compromising accuracy, excellent product quality and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.

  • Strong relationship-building ability, proactive, results-oriented, and resourceful.

  • Computer proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word and PowerPoint) and especially strong skills in Excel.


Responsibility

  • Lead the process for Accounts Receivable which entails rent collection, tenant follow up.

  • Review tenant ledger for reconciliation.

  • Coordinate tenant payments and account adjustments.

  • Prepare weekly and monthly AR reporting.

  • Resolves tenant account inquiries.

  • Liaise with retail leasing on a bi-weekly basis.

  • Assist in setting up tenants for EFT/ PAP.

  • Assists with annual RAN\'s and Year End Adjustment letters.

  • Prepare deposits at beginning of each month.

  • Retail sales collection, and reporting.

  • Work with accounting to administer percentage rent charges and collection.

  • Act as a backup to Property Administration Team.


Bonus skills and experience

  • Familiarity with real estate software such as Yardi, MRI, etc.

  • Experience with contracts and leasing agreements.

  • Working towards CPM or RPA would be considered an asset.


What success looks like

  • You develop and maintain positive relationships with property owners, tenants, vendors and contractors.

  • You respond in a timely manner to tenants\xe2\x80\x99 needs to meet lease obligations.

  • You support the property manager by preparing regular ownership reports with accuracy and timely.

  • You effectively lead all administrative tasks, including work orders, service requests, rent and expense payments, property maintenance and vendor compliance requirements.
