DescriptionOur North Vancouver client is seeking a permanent, full-time Property Accountant to join the team.**Competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $85,000 + Benefits**Location: North VancouverBenefits of position:

- Monthly and quarterly financial reporting for a portfolio of commercial properties with some residential
- Setting up leases and preparing rental notices
- Applying rent receipts
- Processing miscellaneous billings/chargebacks
- Reviewing and posting approved rent rolls
- Tenant account reconciliations
- Filing of GST, Parking Tax, and PST rebates
- Monthly review of general ledger and preparation of month-end journal entries
- Account reconciliations, and variance reporting
- Assist with the preparation/compilation of property budgets
- Year-end operating cost reconciliations and respond to tenant inquiries
- Preparation of annual audit working papers and responding to auditor request
- Timely billing of property taxes to those tenants who pay annually
- Designated CPA or near completion will be highly regarded
- 2-4+ years commercial property accounting experience
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
