Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting:
Prepare monthly and annual financial statements.
Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies.
Month-end/recurring journal entries
Assist in the preparation of audit working papers and liaison with auditors.
Prepare HST reconciliations and related remittances when required.
Provide insights to support strategic decisions.
Financial Management:
Analyze financial data and variances between actual and budgeted figures.
Oversee day-to-day financial operations of your own portfolio of condominium properties.
Work with the accounts payable and receivable department if issues arise.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
Monitor cash flow
and ensure timely payments for capital projects.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets for assigned condominium properties.
Monitor budget performance and report variances to management.
Communication and Collaboration:
Collaborate with property managers, board members, and external stakeholders.
Communicate financial information effectively to board members as needed.
Participate in meetings and provide financial guidance to property managers as needed.
Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting condominium finances.

Minimum Qualifications and Skills
Undergraduate degree or diploma in accounting
2 years experience in accounting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Able to handle confidential information with discretion.
