Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Property Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records related to property management, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with financial regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and proficiency in Yardi Voyager and condominium management.

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and budgets for property management. Conduct financial auditing to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations. Perform account analysis and reconciliation, including bank reconciliation and payroll processing. Utilize Yardi for efficient financial management. Collaborate with property management teams to provide insights on budgeting and financial performance. AR/AP and bank reconciliations Monitor cash flow and prepare forecasts to support decision-making processes. Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings as needed.

Experience

Proven experience in property accounting or a related field is preferred. Strong knowledge of financial auditing, budgeting, account analysis, and reconciliation processes. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and PeopleSoft is highly desirable. Familiarity with corporate finance principles and financial services is a plus. Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
