Contract - PSA Accountant

Recruitment Partners is currently seeking an experienced PSA Accountant to join our clients team in Calgary. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accounting, analysis and reporting related to HPCs Propane Supply Agreements (PSAs).

Your success will be defined by your ability to:

• Management of third-party statements and invoices to ensure that they are accurately reflecting the requirements set in the PSAs
• Coordination of third-party audits on statements and invoices related to PSAs
• Collaboration with the HPC Commercial Team to ensure that customer requirements are being met
• Perform analysis and internal reporting (management reports, cash forecasts, etc.) related to major customer agreements
• Ability to manage multi-entity, multi-currency environments
• Prepare journal entries to record financial transactions related to the PSAs
• Perform month end closing, including account analysis and balance sheet reconciliations
• Analyze month-end fee revenue, reconcile revenue to customer contracts and prepare variance analysis to ensure completeness
• Assist the Supervisor, Revenue on an as needed basis to monitor daily team progress and approve journal entries in SAP

Your strengths include:

• CPA designation with 6+ years of related experience
• Knowledge of SAP and advanced proficiency in Excel
• Ability to set and meet challenging deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
