What You'll Do:

As our Promotions and Engagement Coordinator, you'll play a crucial role in expanding our reach and deepening our audience connection. Your main responsibilities will include:

Content Promotion & Distribution:

Strategically promote WatchMojo's tentpole content, including our iconic Top 100s, Top 50s, special releases, new series, and trending videos, across all major social media platforms.

Community Engagement:

Actively engage with our diverse communities, including fans, artists, and brands, by tagging relevant accounts, responding to comments, initiating conversations, and proactively finding new opportunities to connect where these communities exist.

Organic Reach Amplification:

Implement innovative strategies to maximize organic reach through effective tagging, trending hashtags, and the creation of compelling repackaged vertical video clips tailored for each platform.

Social-First Storytelling:

Craft engaging and platform-specific copy for social posts and promotional assets that capture attention and encourage interaction.

Basic Asset Creation:

Develop basic promotional assets, including short-form video clips and static images, to accompany your social campaigns.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with our content teams to ensure seamless promotion and alignment with our editorial calendar.

Performance Reporting:

Track, analyze, and report on the performance of your promotional efforts, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

What You'll Bring:

Proven experience in social media management, content promotion, or community engagement roles. A deep understanding of various social media platforms (e.g., YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, X, Facebook, Snapchat) and their unique best practices. Exceptional copywriting skills with a strong ability to craft compelling and concise social-first narratives. Basic graphic design and video editing skills for creating simple promotional assets. A highly creative mindset with a passion for identifying and leveraging trending topics and formats. Self-direction and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A genuine interest in pop culture, entertainment, and digital content.
