Job Description

We are looking for a Project/Facilities Engineer to join our team, based at the Irving Pulp & Paper Mill in Saint John, NB. The individual would work with a highly driven team and be provided with a training and development program . The individual would be given opportunities to grow within our company and to achieve their career goals.

Responsibilities:

• Management of mill projects from concept to commissioning.
• Lead cross functional teams involving engineering consultants, equipment suppliers, unionized contractors and mill personnel to ensure projects are completed in a cost effective, timely and reliable manner.
• Support facility programs when required.
• Work with a highly driven team to support mill activities.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate will be a graduate of Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
• 1 to 10 years experience in their field.
• Prior experience in pulp and paper engineering is an asset.
• PMP Designation is considered an asset but not required.
