Develop and implement category strategies aligned withbusiness objectives.
Conduct spend analysis, supplier scouting, and assessments
to identify sourcing opportunities.
Define and manage category roadmaps with clear milestones
and KPIs.
Project Leadership
Lead cross-functional sourcing and transformation projects from initiation to completion.o Apply project management methodologies to ensure timely delivery and budget adherence.
Track and report on project progress, risks, and outcomes.
Supplier & Stakeholder Management
Identify and onboard new suppliers.o Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Lead negotiations and manage contracts to ensure value creation and risk mitigation.
Drive supplier performance improvements and innovation initiatives.
Data & Performance Analysis
Monitor category performance using dashboards and analytics tools.o Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and governance frameworks.
Knowledge/Education:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.o A Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CPSM, CIPS) are considered assets
5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably within the electrification, energy, or manufacturing sectors.
Proven track record of leading cross-functional projects and managing complex sourcing initiatives from start to finish.
Experience in supplier negotiations, contract management, and performance improvement.o Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement tools.
Demonstrated ability to work in a structured, analytical, and strategic manner.
Strong background in project management methodologies and stakeholder engagement.
