Job Description

Our material handling firm is growing and looking for an Outside Sales Representative to join our team!

The objective of this role is to drive company sales of pallet racking equipment and shelving systems through hunting new prospects and scheduling site visits to determine clients' current or future needs. Provide in-person consulting to a customer on their project, offer suitable racking solutions as primary contact for the client in managing expectations, ensuring the worksite is clear and ready, ensuring the proper materials are submitted for order, and ensuring the operations team is well equipped and prepared for the project. In addition to hunting and building new business, you will receive regular leads we generate from marketing.

Skills and Attributes

• Proven track record of developing new business
• 5+ years experience (industrial sales an asset)

Activities:

• Sales of our core product line: pallet racking equipment and shelving systems

• Hunt new prospects and schedule site visits to determine their current or future needs
• Create relationships, expand existing relationships, and continuously build a book of business
• Provide in-person consulting to a customer on their project, offer suitable racking solutions
• Utilize CRM system daily
• Work closely with other company departments that supports your overall projects
• Keep a focused effort to prospect new business, while managing open orders and an existing customer base
• Be attentive to details and ensure quote accuracy
• Provide excellent customer service

COMPENSATION: Salary plus uncapped commission and benefits
