Job Description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY Has personal accountability and responsibility for delivering on time and on budget, all strategically significant projects while developing project management expertise within the organization through training, mentorship, guidance and application of project management tools, templates, and practices. SPECIFIC DUTIES

• Owns the New Product Introduction process and ensures new programs are delivered to meet all key metrics (scope, schedule, budget, quality).
• Assist in establishing, verifying, or updating capacity planning requirements for projects/programs.
• Collaborate with Business Development to prepare and update project cost estimates
• Manage projects through the full project cycle from initiation/planning through to execution/controlling and closure.
• Effectively manage project team to deliver to set project timelines
• Apply reporting tools to ensure clarity of status and efficient execution of projects (adherence to scope, schedule budget, quality goals).
• Drive the execution of Strategic projects by partnering with all stakeholders to develop project charter, metrics, resourcing as well as identify barriers, obstacles, and interdependencies between projects.
• Lead governance meetings with key stakeholders \xe2\x80\x93 Formal Gate Reviews, Executive Updates, Customer Reviews.
• Accountable for Financial reporting against pre-determined success factors on all strategic projects.
• Acts as the primary project interface to the customer on all strategic projects.
• Drives consensus at meetings where stakeholder priorities may differ.
• Proactively keep all relevant stakeholders informed on progress and risks, ensure critical tasks are understood by necessary business leaders and act as a liaison between the project lead, executive, senior management, and the cross-functional project teams.
• Lead internal and external project meetings, and develop communication plan for new programs

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Ability to influence at multiple levels (Customer, cross functional team, Senior & Executive Management) is critical to success.
• Proven ability to manage and execute several plans of significant complexity and importance
• PMP or equivalent certification.
• Bachelor\'s Degree in a technical discipline (Engineering, Science or similar)
• 3-5 years\' experience in a Project Management role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge and ability to use MS-Office tools, Project Management Tools (MS Project or similar).
• Experience managing within an industry with significant regulatory oversight.
• A consensus builder and highly skilled negotiator with excellent people management skills.
• Ability to drive change management and Lean initiatives processes

Preferred Skills /Competencies

• Six Sigma/ Lean certification
• Proven success identifying/leading continuous improvement initiatives
• Process optimization/value chain analysis experience
• 3-5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a Pharmaceutical or other regulated industry.
