Silver Lake Resources, Sugar Zone Mine entered commercial production in 2019. The mine is currently producing from the Sugar Zone North and South areas. Development is underway to the Middle Zone, which will open a whole new mining area.PROJECT MANAGER
We are seeking an energetic and self-motivated individual to fill this position. The successful candidate will have a high focus on safety and environmental protection in all aspects of the job reporting to the General Manager.Company / Leadership

• Develop goals and objectives with subordinates consistent with overall effectiveness and efficiency of operation.
• Initiate and provide input into company directives in collaboration with Site Management team.

• Ensure good, clear lines of communication between all stakeholders, including the Site Management tea, co-workers, and contractors.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and take responsibility for own conduct and behaviour in the workplace.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Define, scope, and manage projects focused around, tailings management, surface and underground infrastructure and other areas as required.
• Liaise with department manager to gain approvals and manage risk.
• Coordinate field activities with operations, maintenance and contractors as required.
• Effectively manage project execution, costs and optimize project outcomes.
• Track and control projects to deliver them within their approved scope, quality, budget, and schedule.
• Effectively manage procurement plans/strategies.
• Oversee Project QA/QC.
• Evaluate project outcomes as established during the planning phase.
• Build a project pipeline using continuous improvement and business improvement strategies.
• Actively seek optimization opportunities to increase safety, environment, housekeeping, productivity, or reduce consumption in all operations.

Bachelor's degree in mining engineering, mechanical, civil, electrical, construction management, or another related field.
Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred.
Working knowledge of contractual agreements and proven ability to manage work within contract terms mandatory.Work Schedule:

• The work schedule will be a rotation of 14 days on/14 days off, OR 7 days on/7 days off - 12-hour days.
• Accommodation provided in White River, Ontario.
• Transportation provided between White River and the Sugar Zone Mine.
