  • Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives that adhere to organizational objectives.
  • Develop program assessment protocols for evaluation and improvement.
  • Maintain organizational standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance.
  • Oversee multiple project teams, ensuring program goals are reached.
  • Manage budget and funding channels for maximum productivity.
What will you be doing!
  • Work closely with the project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives.
  • Manage program and project teams for optimal return on investment, and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives.
  • Identify key requirements for cross-functional teams and external vendors.
  • Develop and manage budget for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives.
  • Work with other program and project managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department.
  • Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for managers and stakeholders.
  • Lead integration and collaboration with different organizations (internal and external to CNL) to ensure operational alignment for the Waste Management Campus.
  • Lead and coordinate operational readiness reviews, through supporting the development of plans and procedures, and by facilitating independent assessments for readiness and continuous improvement.
  • Lead and maintain the momentum of change through management action, strategic advice, and consultancy on processes and initiation to help change the organization to improve safety, productivity, and employee competency.
  • Establish and maintain standards and policies for human performance, using industry best practices.
  • Provide support for other Managers and Project Leaders in the identification and application of lessons learned, OPEX and experience-based learning.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, as generally required of all CNL Managers, and which may be delegated by Environmental Remediation Management Senior Leadership.
  • Other duties as assigned by your manager.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication ability with a variety of internal and external organizations and levels.
  • Ability to foster a team environment by understanding and managing group dynamics. Ability to solicit points of view, ideas, and opinions from team members to help form decisions or plans in achieving organizational unit objectives.
  • Requires strong human resources skills, ability to listen and quickly address human resources issues, and motivate staff to achieve high levels of professionalism to ensure business alignment of business objectives at all levels of the operation.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive as a member of a large, matrix project team working collaboratively with peers, staff, and senior management to achieve project objectives in an environment characterized by frequent deadlines, complex decisions, competing demands, and client scrutiny.
  • Outstanding knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to hire, develop and manage technical and support resources to realize their potential and to make effective use of consulting services to deliver the expected results on a value-for-money basis.
  • Strong communication skills, and experience preparing concise reports on strategic/technical topics, issues management, and risks.
Experience:
  • Proven experience in program and/or project management.
  • Proven experience managing a team.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience leading others and achieving objectives through the efforts of team resources.
Education:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree (or equivalent) in business administration or related field,
\xc2\xb7 Security clearance eligibility required:\xc2\xb7 Level 2 Secret which has a minimum requirement of 7 years of verifiable history in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, United States and/or the United Kingdom .
