The successful candidate should have strong interpersonal skills, experience in the engineering and construction industry, with project management skills. This is a hybrid position based out of our St. John\xe2\x80\x99s, NL office, with rotations to Labrador City, however, other home locations within Atlantic Canada would be considered.Primary Responsibilities

• Work within a multidisciplinary design team as a project manager with a focus on structural-based projects.
• Complete site visits to document existing conditions in both brownfield and greenfield projects
• Work with a team of engineers, designers through proposal development to project completion
• Complete budgetary estimates, write proposals and contribute to reports and studies
• Oversee formal engineering review processes to ensure they are completed
• Industrial, electrical utility (with focus on mining and electrical utility facilities), commercial, institutional, and government projects
• Regular visits to Labrador City required in an established rotation

Qualifications

• Higher education in Civil/Structural Engineering or related discipline
• Registered or able to register as an Engineer with the Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Newfoundland & Labrador (PEGNL) \xe2\x80\x93 an asset
• PMP designation \xe2\x80\x93 an asset
• 7-10 or more years of relevant experience
• Proven experience n the project engineering and construction industry
• Capacity to interact within a multidisciplinary environment
• Client-focused,keen to understand their problems and recommend solutions
• Entrepreneurial spirit that will contribute to the growth of the business \xe2\x80\x93 an asset
